By using data such as retail point of sale, inventory information, and supply chain policies, One Network can mimic a retailer replenishment system and predict what a retailer will order from a supplier days, weeks, and months into the future. This is in advance of the actual order being placed. We do this with a high degree of accuracy. These “order predictions” enable a supplier to better plan and position their inventory in anticipation of these future orders. Subsequently, service to the retailer and order to ship leadtimes are improved and demand variability is virtually eliminated.
